This initial 6 week course will take you through several techniques within the craft of Traditional Handmade Felt making. Perfect for beginners!

Course Description

Felt making is a wonderfully tactile craft allowing the individual to create unique pieces of felted fabric using sheep's wool. This course will mainly explore Wet felting using merino wool tops with a brief introduction into needle punch felt. Perfect for beginners looking for a new craft to explore.

The course will be run by experience felt maker Lianne Woodward. Lianne runs workshops in a variety of craft disciplines but would describe Felt making as her most all time favorite!

When will the course be held?

This particular course is running on three separate occasions during the week to hopefully suit a time for all! Pick one of the below days. Wednesday evening. 7.30- 9pm Starting Wednesday 22nd June Alternate Thursday Evenings 7.30-9pm Starting 30th June Friday Mornings 10.30-12 noon Starting 24th June

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself and your desire to be creative!
It's not a messy craft but if you are prone to dry skin bring some hand cream as we will be using a lot of water!
